Oil Paintings by Sarah Evans

Sarah has loved art all her life and has been drawing since she was able to hold a pencil. From the age of 7 to 19, Sarah attended Mission: Renaissance Fine Art Classes, strengthening her foundations in drawing and painting. Many of the oil paintings seen here were painted during her time in this program as a young adult from 2005 - 2009, while other selections of more recent work from 2018-2020.

Represented works include original still life, landscapes, and studies of master painters such as Van Gogh, Monet, Renoir and Rembrandt.

Sarah graduated from Cal State LA in 2016 with a Bachelors in Graphic Design and Visual Communications. Previously, she taught Religious School and Hebrew classes at Temple Beth David in Temple City for 10 years. She currently teaches art as the Children's Program Director at Art Time Monrovia, a pilot program of Mission: Renaissance that combines traditional fine art and modern technology.

Stop by the Jewish Federation to see Sarah's paintings. If you are an artist and would like to display your artwork at the Jewish Federation, please contact Cantor Judy Sofer at jsofer@jewishsgpv.org
