Quilting has been a creative and enjoyable hobby for me. The process includes many steps: choosing a pattern or designing my own, selecting the fabrics, measuring and cutting the pieces, sewing the pieces together to form the front, constructing the back, assembling the three layers, quilting it, making a binding and sewing the binding on the quilt and stitching it down by hand.
If it is a wall quilt, then I make a sleeve and sew it to the back, so I can put a rod or rope through it in order to hang. Most of my quilts I have given to family members and friends for special occasions. I do not have a business and just prefer to make them for fun.
